Old ways dont open new doors

“iss katha ke sabhi patra kalpanik nahin hai”, well this means all the people in this article are real. So it was a usual weekday, I was working on the points my reviewer had sent for my upcoming book with BPB publication, I received a whatsapp message from “Sunny”. I met him during a workshop conducted by Pradeep Soundrajan, in Delhi who is the Mother of two startups Appachhi and Moolya. The workshop concluded with an introduction about an amazing app, I believe most of you have heard about it now Bugsura- https://bugasura.io/. If not let me urge you to go and download it today in case you are into mobile testing. Well coming back to my chat with Sunny, who is hard to forget, well I accept he was a good looking man. Our discussion went into about test debt and stuff. And then he mentioned, how great it would be, if our dear NCR also had “Testing Meetups” like it happens in Pune and Bangalore.

His words took me back to a conference DSTC held by StepIN, in Gurgaon, where Rahul Verma, mentioned, that we should now stop saying that Delhi people don’t want testing conferences. He actually quoted a movie dialogue Taare Zaamen Par.   And his words struck a chord with every single 200+ people in audience. By the way I am not sure, if people who are interested in framework design and concepts are following TestMile OSS “Arjuna” framework project. If you are not doing it, I have to tell you, you are missing a lot of great stuff. Do check out this link –  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OF8m6590_LA

Okay, coming back to my discussion with Sunny, I told him about QeKafeI came to know about QEKafe, when I met some awesome people who are working in sphere of emerging testing technologies. Their aim is to share cutting edge trends, technologies and best practices with QE community. I would be lying if I don’t acknowledge and accept, that hearing about the kind of transformation they envision for testing fraternity gave me goosebumps. Working on advance world of automation which includes mobile/web automation, Automated Governance, Cloud Computing, AI/ML, Alexa, designs I almost felt jealous but happy to rub off shoulders with them. The visionaries behind QEKafe, which is entirely non-profit, want to arrange regular meetups @ NCR for testers, to provide us all platform to share knowledge and network. They want to hear us out, and they have a platform where we all can showcase our ideas in form of articles, videos and talk about cutting edge technologies. Maybe this is the Holy Grail for the testing community for Delhi-NCR, we all have been waiting for. So, let’s not wait any longer, reach out to them at – reachus@qekafe.com, and lets build

this community together. Connect with them on LinkedIn to stay updated for upcoming publications - https://www.linkedin.com/in/qekafe/
